I know they have rooms with fans and no AC, but I wouldn't recommend those, at least during the spring/summer/fall.
WebMar 4, 2024 · Big Bend National Park is remote with many beautiful spots to visit. The Lodge is in the ideal location to visit the park. Staff were all friendly and helpful. We had good views from our room. However, this is the end of the good news. We stayed in a tired motel style room. The main facilities in the room were a small microwave and tiny fridge. http://www.chisosmountainslodge.com/
WebAug 30, 2016 · It's the only place to stay that is actually inside of Big Bend National Park, so location was great. It's close to the Panther Junction Ranger Station and Visitor Center. The convenience store had breakfast items too. No TV or internet, except weak wifi at the gift shop and restaurant. No cell service for us on Verizon either.
