Web14 apr. 2016 · The current problem is that the battery will crank one time with no sluggishness, the engine turns over, but doesn't start (carb is most likely clogged but that's another issue) and then the battery is completely dead. I can recharge it fully, but then will have the same result. I had the battery checked and it is good. Suggestions? Thank you. Proceedure (B) If there was no voltage on either terminal in procedure (A) step #1,turn key on then test between each wire and - battery post. If one wire show's 12v,put it back on it's terminal and start at Step #3.
